Little Green Lice Guard Collection: A Back to School Basic

I don't like bugs, and neither do my girls {or my hubby for that matter}. That might seem like a "duh!" statement, but last night we just watched an episode of "Ridiculousness" on MTV where some IDIOT actually reached out to touch a huge poisonous spider and then had the audacity to be shocked when the spider bit him. No matter whether you are like me and completely averse to all things creepy crawley or an amateur entomologist {insect enthusiast}, any sane person knows to be wary and take precautions against parasitic, disease carrying, poisonous, or simply nuisance causing insects. It is in that vein that I am happy to share this inventive, preventative, hair product for your precious little ones from Little Green! {Products sent for consideration}

Quickie Giveaway: Restock Your School and Office Supplies with BIC!

 I don't know if this is common in other households, but in the Smith house, we go through school supplies very quickly. It probably has to do with the slight obsession that the girls and I have with pens, paper, and office/school supplies in general, but whatever the case, we love pens-and this selection from BIC is no exception! So I'm ecstatic to be able to offer one lucky lovely to same selection to replenish your school supply stores. {Products were sent for consideration}

Introducing Clean George!

I'm always on the look out for products that I can toss in my purse that I can use for myself and the girls {because it's hard enough running around after littles without adding a 15 lb. purse to the mix}. So of course I'm head over heels for these CleanGeorge sticks {sent for review}: not only are they lightweight, convenient, and guaranteed not to spill and make a mess all over the inside of my bag, they're kid-safe, easy to use, AND good for you!

The Clue is In the Blue! (LUVS New & Improved Diapers)

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Luvs.

Yep... still using diapers. Kenzie is almost three and while we have made progress in the area of potty training, we are so not fully committed yet. I could be bitter {both Lo and Peyton were out of diapers at this age}, but since Kenzie's our last baby, I'm not going to rush her. It also helps that since we use Luvs diapers {and have for years}, we're not spending an arm and a leg to keep her in diapers. So of course, I said ""heck yeah!" when SheSpeaks asked me to review a package of Luvs new and improved Super Absorbent Leakguard diapers!

Back to School Basics: Zylast Hand Sanitizer

Zylast XP Anitseptic Foaming Soap

In recent years, one of the items that has been added to most teacher's lists for their student's school supplies: hand sanitizer or hand soap. And I don't blame them-kids are nasty. Filthy, dirty, germ harboring, carriers of disease. Bless their hearts...

The Only Pen You'll Need for the Next 7 Years...

The Seven Year Pen from Seltzer Goods (pictured on top of my Erin Condren Life Planner)

Before my obsession with beauty products began, my heart belonged to stationary. For as long as I can remember, I've obsessively hoarded collected pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, and post its. Yes, it's a bonafide obsession. I don't know if it stems from the fact that I'm a writer or what, but there is nothing in the world to me like a good pen and the smell of brand new paper. Let's just say back to school supply shopping is like a holiday for me! So you'll understand why I was completely intrigued when I was sent an email about a pen that claims to last 7 YEARS! I quickly responded, letting the PR rep know that I was interested in featuring this wonder of a pen, and color me surprised when it arrived!

Let Them Lunch with Style! Send Your Littles Back to School with Erin Condren!

Lo LOVES her Erin Condren Lunchbox in Taffy Stripes (I'm a fan too!)

London started kindergarten this year and I wanted to make sure that she embarked on her academic career with all the confidence and style she could muster. I have to admit, I was a bit anxious about her getting adjusted to a new routine away from me and our home. One of the things that I was worried about was lunch time: how could I make sure that she made good decisions with her food, both with her selection and her portion control {with her, it's more about eating enough that overeating}. Lo and behold, here comes Erin Condren-this time using her fabulous sense of style and knack for organization towards the classic kid's lunch box! {Product sent for review}

Weather Channel to Premiere Exclusive Sneak Peak of Disney's "Frozen"! (Press Release)

(Image linked to source)

I'm not gonna lie, I had no knowledge of this upcoming release from Disney before today, but now I'm excited! Disney has been on a roll for us as of late; I was utterly {and pleasantly} surprised by how much I we love Tangled,  Brave and Wreck It Ralph. This latest movie from the house of Mickey features two strong female characters, sisters Anna {voiced by Kristen Bell whom I love} and Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel whom I also love}. I don't know a whole lot about the plot yet, but we can all get a sneak peak of the trailer, starting tomorrow June 18, at weather.com .

Loved By Kids of All Ages! (Well, At Least 3 Ages)-A Cut The Rope Toy Review

Cut the Rope is an uber popular mobile game app that apparently I was just not cool enough to be aware of . I say this because I was going to pass up on the opportunity to review the new line of toys based on the game, when Peyton saw the email over my shoulder {nosy girl!} and said something to the effect of "OMG! Om Nom! I LOVE him!!!!" So I agreed to review a few things... you know...for the girls...

Om Nom's Playground- Quick Set (Windmill): All 3 of the girls loved playing with this-we had peace and quiet for a good 30 minutes while they all played with it. Unfortunately, they scattered all the pieces around the house shortly after that, so this is the only picture I was able to get :(

Bath & Body Works + Matthew Robbins (A Press Release)

I generally don't just flat out post press releases, but I've already divulged my love for all things Bath & Body Works so I feel comfortable sharing this tidbit with you lovelies! I've always been obsessed with home fragrance and am a huge fan of BBW's Wallflowers and candles, so I was super intrigued by this information regarding their collaboration with celebrity event designer, Matthew Robbins. Combine that with my sudden (and inexplicable) preoccupation with Spring Cleaning-and I can honestly tell you, I can't wait to implement some of these tips myself! {I was not paid to share this information; I just thought you lovelies may find it interesting and helpful!}

This might be the most awesomest center piece I've ever seen!
