Let Cars.com Make Car Buying Easy!

The following is a sponsored post

I live in a place where having a car is a necessity – especially if you have a family with active, school aged kids. I realize there are some places that are convenient and more conducive to public transportation, but the ‘burbs north of Atlanta is not one of those locales. We’ve been a one car family for almost ten years, which suited us just fine when our youngest girls were little, but now that they’re all in school it’s just not a workable option anymore. So the search for a vehicle has begun…

Fashion and Care Tips from The Good Wife's Costume Designer, Dan Lawson! (Dryel Ambassador/Sponsored Post)

One of the coolest things about being a Dryel Ambassador was the opportunity to submit interview questions to Dan Lawson, the costume designer for the popular CBS TV series "The Good Wife!" Not only did he share some fabulous tips on how to stay chic and trendy for work, he also had excellent advice on how to take care of your clothes - for instance, by using Dryel like they do on set! {This post is sponsored by Dryel as part of my participation in their ambassador program}

Spiegel- A Century of Style for the New Millennium (Sponsored Post)

I doubt that there's a woman from my my generation and earlier, that isn't familiar with Spiegel. I remember the huge catalogues that would come for my mom and sifting through the pages, picking out all the sophisticated, timeless pieces that would one day fill my grown up wardrobe. Chances are, my mother did the same thing-Spiegel was founded in 1865 and the iconic fashion brand has been setting the styles for women across the country for over a century now!

A Pair for Every Day of the Week!

This post brought to you by Coastal.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

I got my first pair of glasses when I was eight years old. At first I was super excited about them {I mean, who doesn’t like being able to see}, but the novelty of them soon wore off. By the time I was 11 or so, I was counting down the days until I’d be able to wear contact lenses {my parents told me that I had to wait until I was 13 and mature enough to take on the responsibility of maintaining them}.

Get Smooth For Summer In Three Simple Steps with Nair Hair Removal! (Sponsored Post)

SPOILER ALERT!!! I am human. Which means that I am also a mammal. This by definition means that along with wonderful things like being warm blooded and having an instinctual compulsion to care for my young, I have hair. Like most mammals, this hair is not confined to my scalp, but rather grows pretty much everywhere. As a female human, the only place I'd really like to have copious amounts of hair is on my head, but as biology has determined otherwise, this is not the case. Which leaves me with wonderful task of hair removal...

Spring Fashion and Beauty feat. Jergens Natural Glow (Sponsored Post)

Spring Fashion and Beauty feat. Jergens Natural Glow!

I'm not gonna lie- I sort of hate the winter! I am so happy that Spring has sprung (though I realize it is still being a bit temperamental in some areas). One of the first things that I do when the season changes, is switch out the clothes in my closet: I bid my winter wardrobe a bon voyage and heartily welcome the lighter fare of my spring/summer clothes. Two of my absolute favorite pieces in my Spring wardrobe are maxi dresses/skirts and sandals! I also love the bright colors that tend to trend in the warmer weather seasons, so I've highlighted all of those things in my ideal spring outfit set above!

The One Day in A Woman's Life When She Should NOT Experiment with Self Tanning... AKA: My One and Only Self Tanning Mishap (Jergens Natural Glow - Month 1)

So... I'll admit that I'm a complete novice when it comes to self tanning. I am naturally a shade caramel that varies depending on the season (and my exposure to the sun), and in general, I'm okay with that. I'll admit, there are times during the cold winter months when I look at my limbs and am shocked at how "pale" they appear, but I suppose in my case, it's all relative.
