Saturday, March 8th marks International Women’s Day and L’Occitane invites you to celebrate this special day with a limited-edition Women’s Day Soap. {Product sent for consideration}
For just $3, you can commemorate this day with L’Occitane’s fund-raising, fair trade soap. The Women’s Day Soaps are produced in Burkina Faso as part of a development partnership with a local factory. The factory has been run entirely by women and supports their economic emancipation.
The 2014 Women’s Day Soap features a special design that evokes the joy of women in Burkina Faso. It is formulated with shea butter (52%) from a fair trade producer and made by the women in Burkina Faso. The L’Occitane Foundation and NGO will donate 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the soap to organizations that promote women’s entrepreneurship.
