Do you like my little pun in the title? Lol. You all already know how much I love Julep and their awesome polishes and even more stellar subscription service, but who knew they could hit the ball out of the park with mascara too!

Jet black. Lash growth enhancement ingredients and micro-fiber applicator separates, conditions, and plumps individual lashes for a thick and gorgeous finish.
I love the unusual rectangular packaging (it makes it easier to grip the tube and the applicator) and the thin, long, pliable applicator. But the star truly is the unique formula; it is literally chock full of lash enhancing fibers that work to extend and lengthen each individual lash. I actually prefer lengthening mascara formulas to volumizing ones, so I was not sure how much I'd like this one. Turns out, I really do! I only used two coats in the pictures above, so the effect that I got was more lengthening than volumizing, but because of its buildable formula, I think that another 1-2 coats would have filled out my lashes nicely.I like that my lashes look natural, but enhanced and the formula did not weigh my lashes down or make them feel heavy.
So overall, Julep's American Beauty Volumizing Mascara gets a thumbs up from me! My only caveat is that those that are truly looking for a mascara to add volume and thickness to their lashes, might find something left to be desired.
