Alternative Foods For Common Food Allergies And Intolerances

We all know that to keep ourselves fit and healthy we need to eat right and exercise regularly. But what about those of us that have allergies or intolerances to certain foods? If you’re unfortunate to suffer with any food allergies or intolerances, then you will know how hard it can be to still give your body what it needs. In this article, I’m going to give you a few alternatives to common allergies and intolerances.

Eggs are a very common food to be allergic to. Unfortunately, they offer a fantastic source of protein so if you’re unable to eat them, then you’re missing out on a large chunk of protein that could be in your diet. To replace the protein you’re losing with your allergy, try eating fish, (although a common thing for people with an egg allergy is also having a fish allergy too) meat, pulses, nuts and cheese. Other foods do contain protein, but not as high of an amount as the products mentioned.

4 Fitness Excuses That Are A Load Of Rubbish!

I would say that a fair proportion of the population look at themselves and want to make improvements. They want to lose weight, be more toned, or just generally see a more active version of themselves. For some of us, having the motivation to achieve these changes is fairly easy. We get up every morning and eat healthily, then exercises regularly, and we do see results.

On the other hand, there are plenty of people that have this dream of what they want to achieve but never quite reach it. Largely, this is because they’ve always got an excuse up their sleeve as to why they haven’t started getting fit. I’m sure a lot of you know what I’m talking about here. There’s always that one person who's got an excuse for not eating well or not working out. In fact, that person might be you!

What I want to do today is talk about some of my favorite fitness excuses. Well, I call them my favorites not because I think they're good, but because they make me laugh as they’re so rubbish. You’ll find that wherever there’s an excuse, there’s an idea to work around it. By reading this post, I hope you’ll find a few of your own excuses and will now realize how silly they are.

CeraVe® Declares National Cleanse Your Skin Week!

Did you know that August 1 – 7 is National Cleanse Your Skin Week

National Cleanse Your Skin Week was created by CeraVe®, America’s fastest growing skin care brand, to make consumers aware of the importance of cleansing and understanding how ingredients can impact the skin. To gain full insight, CeraVe® conducted a national study, entitled the CeraVe® Skin Survey, with over 1000 adult men and women 18 and over to look at overall awareness and general habits and practices solely focused on facial cleansing. The study reveals that, despite the abundance of skin care products available and information dedicated to the topic, most Americans don’t take proper care of their skin. Also apparent is the huge need for education on ingredients as well as the critical role of proper facial cleansing to maintain healthy skin. {Product provided for review/feature consideration}
