I've seriously debated over whether or not to share all of this here, and even once I decided I would document my journey on the blog, it's been hard figuring out how and when to start. I don't know how much to share and what sorts of things will be of interest and helpful to someone {anyone} out there reading this. But I guess it's time to stop agonizing over it and just get to it...

I talk a lot about my youngest daughters {probably because they are at home with me ALL DAY!}, but I also have a 12 {going on 13 very soon} year old daughter named Peyton. She's beautiful, smart, thoughtful, and oh so creative! She loves to read, music, beauty, and fashion - so she may not look a bit like me, but in a lot of ways, she really is a "mini" me {I put mini in quotes because at this point she's actually taller than me}! I thought it would be fun to let her be more involved with the blog {in hopes that will quench her desire to be active on social media outlets that I think she is SOOOO not ready for} by doing book and product reviews when appropriate and sharing her monthly favorites.

I know it's not the case everywhere, and given the schizophrenic nature of Georgia weather it may not even be true here in a few hours, but right this very instant-right outside my window, Spring is in the air! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and it's not absolutely frigid out! So I'm going to celebrate with a series dedicated to one of my favorite beauty/cosmetics categories: fragrance!

I love that I have 3 daughters-honestly I have no idea what I'd do with boys (but that's probably because I don't have them). I have to admit though, with 3 very different heads of hair to deal with (two of which are very, very curly), at times I envy mommies that have the comparably easy duty of grooming boys. 

March 2013 MAC Matters Purchase: It's Lippie Time!

Before I share what I purchased for this month's installment of MAC Matters, here's a brief recap of what this whole shindig is about:

This series is the brain child of the fabulous Pam of Pammy Blogs Beauty. She basically decided that instead of continuing a subscription to a beauty box service, she'd use the money ($21) to build a core collection of products from MAC Cosmetics. I read about it and immediately asked if I could do it with her.
