L'Oreal EverCurl Line AKA: An Introductory CGC

I'm calling this an introduction because in this post I will only be covering 3 of the 5 products in the line I received for review. The Sculpt & Hold Cream-Gel (pictured below) and the Cleansing Conditioner (not pictured) will be featured in a future post.

Hydracharge Shampoo, Hydracharge Conditioner, Hydracharge Leave-In Cream, and Sculpt & Hold Cream Gel

L’Oreal Paris has launched a new line created specifically for curly girls called EverCurl! It’s a sulfate-free hair care system developed to handle all of our unique curly needs, from cleansing to styling. EverCurl products are designed to keep your curls, coils, and waves hydrated and conditioned.

Here is my first impression of the line:

CGC:Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave-in/Detangler

Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner and Detangler

Product Description:  Knot Today is a leave-in conditioner and detangler designed to smooth the cuticle and remove knots, snarls and tangles from kinky-textured hair. To use, apply Knot Today throughout the hair and comb troubled areas with a wide-tooth comb. Do not rinse out, but you may apply in the shower and run a little water through to evenly distribute the product.

Ingredients: Mango fruit extract, slipper elm, marshmallow root, lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance

silicone free, sulfate free, organic, protein free, glycerin free, animal friendly

My Take: This was a game changer for us! I used to wrestle to comb out my daughter's thick, 4b hair using a wide tooth comb and a regular leave in conditioner or baby detangling spray. Let's just say, that method was painful for both of us! When using Knot Today, I don't even need a comb to get through all the knots and tangles. It leaves her hair soft and smooth and not at all heavy. Best of all, she no longer wails like a banshee when it's time to do her hair!
