My Current Skin Care Routine Featuring nyakio!

My Current Skin Care Routine feat. nyakio

While this is not my entire routine, I've realized that quite a few of the products that I've been using lately are all from nyakio! Here's why these goodies have taken a starring role in my daily routine! {Products sent for review/feature consideration}

Hydrating Lip Balm with Kola Nut {$20, nyakio.com} - This unique fusion of African Kola Nut, the Miracle Oil, Marula, Trichilia Oil and Honey help to relieve and hydrate dry lips. This glorious balm also provides superb antioxidant benefits, leaving lips immediately comforted and soft. I never thought that I would love a balm as much as I do Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Skin Protectant - but this one come really really close. I use this every day as part of morning skin care routine. It helps to keep my lips soft, smooth, and plump - which is super important given the drop in temps AND my newfound affection for matte lipsticks.

Hydrating Face Oil with Kola Nut {$49; nyakio.com- This light, non-greasy fusion of African Kola Nut, Ximenia Oil, Chamomile Oil and Trichilia Oil invigorates and hydrates for 12 hours. This one-of-a-kind moisturizer evens tone, softens and reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles, leaving all skin types {even oily ones like mine} more youthful-looking. Once again, y'all know that I'm obsessed with oils - didn't really think anything could take the place of argan oil for my face {that seems to be a prevailing theme here}, but this lovely may just take the cake {for now}. I save this one for night time, but really it soaks in so well, if I have to wash my face mid day {like, in preparation for work} I use this as my moisturizer before applying makeup.

Firming Eye Balm with Baobab Cream {$45; nyakio.com} - This rich eye balm absorbs quickly to help skin feel instantly firmer. It also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles – the ultimate multi-tasking eye balm. This balm was actually a bit of a game changer for me; I had gotten out of habit of using eye cream {don't judge me or my laziness} but when I tried this out I was back on the wagon! I use this gem in the morning as well, it keeps my under eye area moisturized all through the day.

So obviously, this does not entail my entire routine, but truth be told I'm still tinkering with it right now, so the products that I'm using are sort of too many to share! But as soon as I finish fine tuning it, I'll be sure to share! Until next time...
