"Now That's Some High Quality H2O!" AKA: Hint Water (A GMYMO Post)

Confession time: I don't like water. I try to force myself to drink it, because I know that I need it and it's good for me and all, but the fact is... I really don't like it. Every day we go through the same routine to make our skin look beautiful – wash, moisturize, and apply makeup. But in order to make our skin really beautiful, we have to go beyond our regular routine and learn about the functions of skin and the many ways to keep it healthy. This includes staying hydrated and drinking plenty of water. While this used to be a huge struggle for me, it has gotten easier recently, and one of the reasons why is Hint Water...

I used to be hooked on those flavored, carbonated "waters," but the hubby convinced me to give those up because of all of the artificial sweeteners. The same goes with those powdered packets made specially to add to water bottles and now the squirt bottles of liquid flavor to add to your drinks. The whole point of drinking more water is to add more good stuff to your body, not all the artificial stuff you don't need. So Hint Water is the perfect compromise for me. No artificial sweeteners, just a little splash of fresh, natural fruit flavor to enhance the taste of (bland) H2O. Just drinking one a day gets me one quarter of the way closer to my 8 glass a day quota.

Hint Water is available in 10 flavors (Watermelon, Honeydew, Hibiscus, Blackberry,Mango-Grapefruit, Pomegranate-Tangerine, Lime, Raspberry-Lime, Pear,Cucumber, and Strawberry Kiwi), but my favorites are Blackberry (which is available at my beloved Starbucks), Pomegranate-Tangerine, and Watermelon...

I love that it's an easy, flavorful way to do something good for myself that I truly struggle with. I literally have to remind myself to drink something period, not just water, so having one of these chilled and ready for me to sip throughout the day (or chug down when I'm feeling particularly parched) is a perfect addition to my fitness AND beauty routine!

Until next time...

  1. I don't drink anything with carbonation myself, but my mom may enjoy these. I have to tell her about them! :)

    1. That's one of the things that I love about these; they aren't carbonated but I still enjoy them! No carbonation, no sugar, no artificial flavors-just water with a little something something to make it more appealing for people like me!
