When Being Too Tired to Wash My Face is a Good Thing! AKA: Radical Skincare

While I know that taking care of my skin is a worthwhile effort, well worth whatever time it takes to tend to it properly, sometimes (particularly at night, when what you put on your skin is most effective) I'm just too tired to do much more than the basics (cleansing cloths FTW!). So I really love these Age Defying Exfoliating Pads from Radical Skincare

My skin goes NUTS as the season transitions from summer to fall. Somehow it manages to simultaneously have dry flaky patches  AND nasty oily pores. Radical Skincare founders Liz and Rachel Edlich created the Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads to help remove the run-down top layer of skin, exposing the soft beautiful skin that lies beneath. I run the pads over my face, neck and decollete (can't neglect the twins) after I use makeup removing/cleansing cloths, on the nights I'm too tired (cough*lazy*cough) to get up and properly wash the day away.

I love that the pads are multitaskers-they protect, repair and sooth the skin. By removing dull, dead skin the Age- Defying Exfoliating Pads also address the issues of aging skin (I'm trying to be preventative here). AHA and BHA at its maximum efficacy (from a multi-fruit acid based formula) work to remove dead cells and accelerate the performance of other skin care treatments and serums, while other potent ingredients help to improve the skin's firmness and texture. It also helps to reduce pore size (score!), minimize lines, and hydrates and nourishes the skin.

Exclusively sold at Barneys (MSRP $95 for 100 pads), Radical Skincare 's Age Defying Exfoliating Pads tap the deep pore-cleansing power of Glycolic Acid, the soothing touch of Chamomile and the resurfacing activity of Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids to smooth, soothe and exfoliate skin while improving skin firmness. They are a hefty investment into the health and maintenance of your skin, but if the results that I've seen thus far are any indication (and I've seen a marked improvement in the texture of my skin and the size of my pores and I only use them twice a week), it's a worthwhile investment. Until next time...
