The Brits Get Lippy!-AKA: butter LONDON Lippy Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection

I'm all about butter LONDON lately (I'm currently wearing Bossy Boots-a light pistachio creme, and Rosie Lee- gorgeous rose gold glitter, on my nails), so I'm loving everything they have coming out for the fall.

Rosie Lee is on the left and Bossy Boots is on the right

How I put them together :)

I've already shared the line up of new lacquers for the fall, and as promised, here is butter LONDON's Autumn/Winter 2012 Lippy Collection:

Fall/Winter 2012 Trends, the butter LONDON way:

The matchy-matchy lip and nail trend is here to stay! Inspired by the high-impact lips seen on the catwalks this season, the LIPPY A/W ‘12 collection includes bold pops of color, chic nudes and a vampy hue. The shades are rich and highly pigmented for a look that’s luxe and perfectly on trend!

Toff

Toff (Lippy, Lacquer)-translation: a slightly derogatory name for someone in the British upper class. The colour is a darker, dustier, brownish take on rose pink, meant to remind you to stop and smell the roses.

Come To Bed Red

Come To Bed Red (Lippy, Lacquer)-translation: this one explains itself. The colour is the "sexiest red in history."

Tea With the Queen

Tea With the Queen (Lippy, Lacquer)- translation: a highly prestigious invitation extended to important (and often times, boring) members of the British public. The colour is a anything but boring neutral, on the pink side of tan. It's understated and perfect for work, or, tea with the Queen!

La Moss

La Moss (Lippy, Lacquer)-translation: a fashioinista's term of endearment for England's most famous model, Kate Moss. By adding "La" to one's name, you're implying that they are a diva. The colour is a vampy, red wine.

Queen Vic

Queen Vic (Lippy, Lacquer)- translation: named for the beloved monarch (also the name of about 3,000 English pubs). Queen Victoria is responsible for many of London's most beautiful landmarks. The colour is fit for a queen, a red wine mixed with cranberry. It's stunning, elegant and classy.

LIPPY products do not contain parabens, petroleum, phthalates, sulphates or bismuth and retail for $17. The Lacquers are $14.

So now my ever growing wishlist includes the lacquers in Toff, Tea With the Queen, Come To Bed Red, Queen Vic, and La Moss and the Lippy's in Toff, La Moss, and Tea With the Queen. What color are you looking forward to adding to your collection? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Until next time...

Ciao, XxO
