Like I Died and Went to Scrubalicious Heaven! AKA: LaLicious Sugar Souffle Moisturizing Body Scrub

Once again, summer to fall transition + my skin = chaos. So other than slather my skin in butters, creams, and lotions (oh, and my beloved oils! Can't forget the oils!) the other step I try to take to help my panicky skin is exfoliate more often. But the thing about exfoliating is, it usually leaves my skin more frazzled than before. That was SO not the case with this gem...

Unlike other scrubs that claim to moisturize but then leave your skin stressed and crying for heavy cream, LaLicious Sugar Souffle Scrub  in Tahitian Flower does just what it claims-it exfoliates AND moisturizes!

The Tahitian Flower scent is an exotic, light floral (because it's actually a flower and not because it's floral smelling-see the distinction). Because one of the main ingredients (coconut oil) actually solidifies at a relatively low temperature, the scrub is *thick* when you grab it from the container. But it melts very easily as you work it with your hands...

I rubbed the scrub into my wet skin until the sugar dissolved (it was kind of awesome) and the coconut oil actually formed a visible barrier between my skin and the water from the shower (sort of like those old school MinWax commercials where they show you the beads of water that form on the surface), but totally not in a bad way. I would recommend cleansing with soap prior to the use of the scrub. There is absolutely NO NEED for lotion after using the scrub! I don't just need lotion after showers because I'm dry- I get ASHY without it! But the LaLicious Sugar Souffle Scrub left my skin so soft, so smooth, so AWESOME-I didn't need anything else...

You can find the Sugar Scrub Souffle on the LaLicious website. It's available in 9 delectable scents, ranging from sweet, floral, and fruity: Brown Sugar and Vanilla, Sugar ReefSugar Kiss, Passion Fruit Lime, Coconut Cream, and of course, Tahitian Flower. Until next time...
