Eden BodyWorks Jojoba Monoi Line

Eden BodyWorks was founded by 13 year old Jasmine Lawrence to address the need in the hair care market for all natural products that actually work. There is no alcohol, petroleum, mineral oils, or sodium sulfates in any of the products, ensuring that your hair doesn't just appear healthy, it actually is!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well my hair responded when I used these products. Out of the four, there are definitely some hits and some misses, but when used all together, the results were stellar! Here's a breakdown of each product I tried:

I started with the Jojoba Monoi All Natural Shampoo. It smells vaguely earthy, and seems quite thin in the bottle (and even when you pour it out). It is formulated from natural botanicals to naturally cleanse impurities and nourish your hair without the use of harsh chemicals. It removes dirt and oil build up from the hair and scalp, but once I rinsed it out, my hair did feel a bit dry and stringy, which left me a bit concerned about how my experience with the line would go...

Those concerns were swiftly put to rest, once I used the Jojoba Monoi All Natural Deep Conditioner. You can definitely detect the smell of tea tree oil, and the formula is thick, rich, and creamy. I fully coated my tresses with the rich concoction and let it penetrate my strands for a full 20 minutes. After I let it sit, I was able to finger detangle my hair easily and my hair felt like the smoothest silk. This was definitely my favorite product from the line.

Next I used the Jojoba Monoi All Natural Hair Milk, my other favorite in the bunch. It's a light leave in conditioner, meant to boost moisture and shine without being too heavy. After applying this, my hair formed into the most perfectly formed ringlets! There was shine, body, and bounce and not a bit of frizz in sight! I love this product!

Finally, there is the Jojoba Monoi All Natural Hair Oil. We all know that I am a HUGE fan of oils of all types, and the fact that this oil is packaged in an adorable aluminum bottle with a convenient spray pump made me super excited and optimistic about how it would work. Sadly, though this product honestly held my highest expectations prior to using it, after all was said and done, it is my least favorite in the bunch. The spray comes out wild and unwieldy, Even though I tried spraying it from several different distances, it always seemed as if I got more product on my walls, mirror, and floor than I did in my hair. And while the oil added a nice amount of sheen, it really wasn't worth the mess that I had to clean up after using it.

Overall, I really REALLY like what I've tried from Eden BodyWorks (with the exception of the Hair Oil maybe). When used all together, my hair turned out beautifully, and so did London's! You do have to take care to not use too much Hair Milk, as over applying can lead to crunchy hair and a white residue. But when used as directed, the results are phenomenal!

Have you had a chance to try Eden BodyWorks? What are your favorite products? What are you excited to try? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Until next time...
