Meet the sexiest and savviest colors in the room with our four hottest shades. They know their way around town and they're always on the VIP list! That's how NCLA describes their latest collection, North of Sunset. The four shade collection is perfect for the fall and is a mix of glitters and cremes. I was immediately drawn to the veritable glitterbomb that is My Dad Invented That, so it's the first shade that I picked to wear and share! {Sent for review}

I talk a lot about my youngest daughters {probably because they are with me A LOT!!}, but I also have a 13 {!} year old daughter named Peyton. She's beautiful, smart, thoughtful, and oh so creative! She loves to read, music, beauty, and fashion - so she may not look a bit like me, but in a lot of ways, she really is a "mini" me {I put mini in quotes because at this point she's actually taller than me}! I thought it would be fun to let her be more involved with the blog {in hopes that will quench her desire to be active on social media outlets that I think she is SOOOO not ready for} by doing book and product reviews when appropriate and sharing her monthly favorites. Fab Five Fridays: Skin Care Emergency Edition!

My skin has gone absolutely haywire this past week: I had an allergic reaction to a lip balm {and now I have puffy, dry, irritated lips}, a bad reaction {though I don't think this was an allergy related} to some wax strips I used on my upper lip {don't judge me}, and some other general tomfoolery going on along my jawline. So I took some decisive action last night and went in to emergency mode with my skin care while the lil bits bathed. Some of these products I've used before and are sort of tried and true, others are new, so while I'm not quite ready to do a full review on them, I have to share, because this morning I woke up to a markedly improved complexion!
