Adventures in Potty Training with Kenzie and Prince Lionheart!

This is my sweet little Kenziekins. She is my youngest daughter, and for all intents and purposes, my last child. My littlest little will be 3 next week {I can't even begin to tell you how fast that has come} and I'm a bit ashamed to admit that she is not fully potty trained yet. Part of it is because she is the youngest and my last, so I've really been relishing her baby-ness. Plus, this is her general attitude towards potty training...

So yeah... for the most part, she's just not down with using the toilet. Mind you I've not gone into hardcore training mode yet, and we have had a few successes by allowing her to go diaper free in the house, but I can already sense that potty training is going to a whole different beast with her {my two oldest were definitely fully potty trained prior to their third birthdays}. But I do have one trick up my sleeve.

I have  the Prince Lionheart weePOD toilet trainer {sent for review consideration}.  Never has a toilet training seat looked so good! Their vast array of colors {flashbulb fuchsia, berry blue, gumball green and galactic grey} compliment any bathroom décor and coordinates with other Prince Lionheart bath and potty products. The slip resistant TPE ring keeps the trainer securely in place and also provides handles for stability and support. It's super easy to wipe clean and comes with a hanging loop for ease of storage, plus it's portable {which is great for holiday traveling, because you can take it along with you and continue to potty train uninterrupted}.  This is great to use for little ones that want to feel like big kids, because they get to use the regular potty {without being worried about holding themselves up or falling in}. The weePOD toilet trainer is available at Target and retails for $27.99.

Do you have any tips or tricks to encourage Kenzie to ditch the diaper and literally put on her big girl panties? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think! Until next time...
