Life's A Beach with NCLA's Spring 2013 Collection! AKA: Mani Monday

 NCLA's Spring 2013 Life's A Beach! Collection is "a playful twist on the idea that Los Angeles living is all sunshine and shopping." The 4 new exclusive lacquers come in beautiful pastel creme shades, with the catchy names that are synonymous with the nail innovators.

 Channel your inner California girl with these gorgeous pastel shades:

Don't Call Me Peachy!: "The perfect tan is hard to obtain, but making sure your nails are peachy perfect isn't with this pastel creme!" I loved the smooth formula of this polish, I only needed 2 thin coats to get smooth, opaque perfection! And just like the company's blurb indicates, this shade will be perfect on tanned fingers and toes!

AM: Beauty Sleep, PM: Shopping Spree: "Give your nails some well deserved beauty rest. Shopping is really not easy as it looks!" Once again, I only needed 2 thin coats to achieve smooth opacity with this polish. It reminds me of the best mint chocolate chip ice cream, without the chocolate chips!

Tennis Anyone?: "Serving a consistently perfect shade is key! This light yellow pastel shade is game, set and match: For You!" I needed two thin coats, followed by one thick coat to get full coverage with this shade, but it is so worth it! This might be my favorite shade in the lineup-somehow it manages to be a gorgeous cross between a butter and lemon yellow, but also has a bit of a neon fluorescent quality to it. It is truly unique and I will definitely be rocking this on my digits all season long! 

As If!: "Work? While it is sunny outside? Some people are just Clueless!" This polish had my heart at go, since it's named after a famous lines from one of my all time favorite movies. I think it is the boldest of all four shades in the collection, just barely qualifying as a pastel. It's a beautiful shade of purple, and I actually prefer it to other pastel purples in my collection, as it actually appears purple, where others come off as too white or sheer.
