Eye Know They're the Windows to My Soul! AKA: mama mio's Eye Know High Protein Moisturizing Eye Serum
I'm kind of a newb when it comes to taking care of my eyes area, but I'm fully on board now (well, maybe half on board). I've tried a few different creams and so far mama mio's Eye Know High Protein Moisturizing Eye Serum is my favorite!
mama mio's Eye Know is "concentrated with everything you need to look after the protein within your skin to keep it looking firm, bouncy and fit-today, tomorrow and for the years to come. Wonderful for ALL skin types." I have oily skin and can't stand to have anything too heavy on my face, plus I hate when it takes FOREVER for a cream to absorb into your skin (and you don't want to be rub, rub, rubbing for forever on your delicate eye area). I apply just a small dab on the back of my hand and then transfer it to my ring finger. Then I tap both my ring fingers together and use them to apply and rub the product all around my eye. I do this after I've washed my face for the evening and applied my moisturizer (argan oil), once I've gotten in the bed (I keep it on my bedside table). It leaves my eyes feeling soothed and refreshed and is not at all irritating to that sensitive area. I wake up free of puffiness and dark circles and my under eye area truly feels pampered!
The Serum comes with a little informational booklet, "Eye Know little book of confidence," that explains more about the concept behind mama mio, the science of the serum, and other products in the line. I'm really attracted to what mama mio stands for as a brand (they want to help women in every stage of life to look good and therefore feel good and confident about themselves), and I love that they have many products dedicated to post baby skin ('cause believe you me, sometimes all hell breaks loose after you pop out a kid). They're a bit on the pricier side, but sometimes you have to look at the health and maintenance of your skin as an investment. The Eye Know High Protein Moisturizing Eye Serum retails for $39 for .5 fl. oz. and can be purchased at mamamio.com.
Do you use an eye treatment regularly? What's your favorite? Have you tried out any of the other products from mama mio? What do you recommend? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Until next time...
