MMM: Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro

From l-r: Bare Naked, Steel Grey, Posh Pink, Cherry Fashion, Wild Orchid

I've long been a fan of Rimmel London for their quality, yet inexpensive cosmetics. They have a huge variety of products and such a wide selection of colors in any given category-there's really something there for everyone. I particularly love several of their mascara formulas (including Scandal'Eyes), Match Perfection Bronzer, and I have more than a handful of their eyeliners (the Professional Eyebrow Pencil and Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencils in Jet Black, Pure White and Jungle Green are all things that I repurchase every time I run out). So I was surprised to find out that there was a product in their extensive product line that I was totally unfamiliar with.

If you're trying to keep your fingers and toes in tip top, summer-ready shape, Rimmel London’s Lasting Finish Pro Nail Enamel is perfect for you! Lasting Finish Pro Nail Enamel creates a smooth and super glossy finish for up to 10 days of maximum color impact and shine.  The Mistake-Free Pro Brush features a wide angled brush for a fast and mistake-free professional application. Available in a wide range of 28 shades, Lasting Finish Pro Enamel is super durable chip and resistant nail lacquer with a patented Shine Release Complex.

Here are a few of my favorite shades from the line:

Bare Naked: a creamy tan; the perfect nude for sun kissed skin and darker complexions

Steel Grey: creamy, taupey grey, with the faintest hint of pearlescence

Posh Pink: vibrant, blue based pink cream (Lo's top pick)

Cherry Fashion: vivid, cherry red cream (so pretty on tan toes)

Wild Orchid: bright lavender cream (Peyton's fave)

I love the brush on these polishes, it covers the nail in one (in the case of my 4 year old) or two (for normal sized fingers) swipes. I also love how shiny the finish is and that it only takes 1 coat to achieve opacity. Will you be giving Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro? Have you tried it already? What's your favorite shade? My inquiring mind wants to know? Leave a comment below and tell me what you think. Until next time...

Ciao, XxO

  1. I think I would love to try Cherry Fashion for the summer-to-fall transition. So pretty! :)

    1. I love Cherry Fashion, it is the perfect transition color. I actually saw a picture on Rimmel London US' Facebook page with a gorgeous manicure using two shades similar to Cherry Fashion and Bare Naked-I think I might give it a whirl! I'll be sure to post if I'm successful :)
