I won't be posting today. Maybe not even Saturday or Sunday. I will be holding my girls and savoring every precious moment with my babies. "Time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all." Please take the time to love. Let go of anger and hate. I don't know what else to say...

Everybody Loves a Winner! AKA: My Win from The Organized Parent and Cid Pear
If you know me IRL, you know that I have had a life long obsession with pens and paper. I can't really explain it, other than perhaps it's the writer in me-I'm so paranoid that the perfect line/thought will come to me and I will not have pen and paper on hand to write it down. And even in this age of technology, where just about everything can be accomplished via your handy dandy smart phone (I heart you iPhone 5), for me there is nothing that compares to the satisfaction of exorcising my thoughts by putting pen to paper. So I collect. And collect. One of the subcategories of paper that I collect (because each notebook/pad/etc. is meant for totally unique purposes) are organizers and pads for lists. In that vein, I recently had the pleasure of winning a giveaway from The Organized Parent (one of my favorite organizational sites) that included one of the most awesomest (yeah I said "awesomest") prizes ever!

A War of the Roses Where Everybody Wins! AKA: A Gift Guide
Fresh roses are awesome (if you're into that sort of thing), but they're pretty for a while and then they die... and leave a mess. So if you want to give the gift of roses, perhaps ponder something a bit more permanent-like skincare!
Bath and Body Works' Cashmere Glow AKA: Today's Smell Good!
Y'all know I love fragrance! I'm constantly using something different because so many different things smell so good to me and I tend to choose scents according to my mood. Today I selected Cashmere Glow from Bath and Body Works and feel cocooned in luxurious warmth. This stuff is GOOD! And I love the little touch of rose gold they added to the packaging with the caps; it adds to the overall luxe effect of the the product.
Anyway, BBW describes the scent as "a warm blend of golden peach and shimmering vanilla with a heart of soft cashmere musk, inspired by being wrapped in luxury." Um yeah... I think they hit the nail on the head with that description (and I tend to think those little tidbits are a tad corny)! Reading it helps me to understand why I love it so-I'm all about peach anything! I find the fragrance to be rich, warm, and sexy-perfect for the fall/winter and exactly the right thing to spritz when you want to cuddle up with your honey.
Right now, Bath and Body Works has a gorgeous gift set that is perfect to give (or receive/keep) and it's a pretty great value too at $32.50...

The gift set includes a glamourous, reusable, glittered bath tub with the Signature Shower Gel (10 oz.), Body Lotion (8 oz.), Fragrance Mist (8 oz.), Triple Moisture Body Cream (10 oz.), and small sponge.
Have you tried Cashmere Glow yet? What's your favorite BBW scent? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think! Until next time...

Honey Curls 4 Step System Set AKA: A Curly Girl Chronicle
If you follow me on Instagram (which you really should be doing), then you got a bit of a preview of this CGC. Honey Curls is a cruelty free hair care line (targeted towards the junior market) from Canada. This is my first time using them, and at first my expectations weren't high (idk exactly why, probably because they have no discernible scent), but now I am super impressed. My curls look fantastic, shiny, and defined AND I'm pretty sure the amount of shrinkage that usually occurs was reduced. I used all four products as directed, and my hair is not crunchy, sticky, or heavy. I think I may be in love...
