Get the Look: John Frieda for Claire Danes at the 2013 Emmy Awards



Claire Dane's fabulous faux bob was the talk on Instagram last night! The Homeland actress wowed on the red carpet in a Armani Prive gown, glamourous Old Hollywood-esque makeup {complete with a gorgeous red-orange lip}, and of course the short faux bob that helped to elongate her neck in that stunning frock.

Michelle Dockery {or Lady Mary Crawley to us Downton Abbey fans} attended last night's 2013 Emmy Awards as a nominee for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series. Makeup artist Jordan Long was inspired by a series of stunning watercolors painted by the artist David Downton {some irony in that name, huh?} in the January 2013 issue of Vanity Fair. In order to complement the classic femininity and clean lines of Dockery’s custom made Prada gown, Long used Laura Mercier cosmetics to keep her makeup very minimal, focusing on her glowing skin and strong brows.
