My Recent Empties - Part 2: Body Care

I shared a picture a while back of my mountain of empties on Instagram and thought I'd give details on le blog, so I decided to split the group up into categories and share the nitty gritty here! Here's the second group of goodies, the body care empties:

Calgon Epsom Salt in Lavender & Honey {purchased by me} - Oh! I'm obsessed with soaking in the tub regularly and I HAVE TO HAVE epsom salts when I do. I found these at Target and the price was right and the size is generous (a large bag is under $5) so I was sold. The salts smell divine and make the water so soft. It offers the same benefits of regular epsom salts with the added bonus of luxurious fragrance. I've already repurchased them several times, but I've since discovered a new brand of bath salts that have totally taken my heart {I'll share them soon}!

Bath & Body Works Bubble Bath in Secret Wonderland {purchased by me} - I'm so sad that this divine scent was discontinued! I'm not a huge fan of BBW's bubble bath formula {the bubbles don't last long at all}, but this scent is perfect: makes you wanna light some candles and enjoy a glass of wine with your bath. I'll definitely be stocking up on the scent when they have their next Semi-Annual Sale.

Cowshed Soothing Bath & Shower Gel in Lazy Cow {sent for review} - I had some help finishing this British import {you'll see that this a trend with the shower gels}. With a potent combination of calm-inducing Chamomile and Sandalwood {known to encourage contemplation}, this shower gel was the perfect addition to my night time routine to help me wind down for the night. will soothe and provide that perfect moment of peace. However, at a whopping $25 a bottle - I don't see myself repurchasing, but it was nice while it lasted.

St. Ives Revitalizing Pear & Soy Body Wash {sent for review and then repurchased by me because it is that good} - If you're looking for an inexpensive, effective, and fantastic smelling body wash, here it is! My hubby used this before I did, and I remember him stepping out of the bathroom after a shower with the most sublime scent following him. I was sold strictly from that, but then when I got to use it myself, I found that it lathers like a dream, cleans the skin without stripping it, and is a great value. Between the hubby and I, we go through shower gel like nobody's business, but a bottle of this lasts longer than most, and you can usually find it for under $4.

Surya Brasil Sapien Women Shave Gel {sent for review} - This was my first experience with a non foaming shave gel, and boy did it open my eyes to a whole new world of shaving! It allowed me to get such a close, smooth shave regardless of what sort of razor I was using {or how many times I used it}. It has a light, citrusy scent - and I would see myself repurchasing it, but I've now stumbled into the wonders if shave oil, and I can't look back!

Bath & Body Works Shower Gel in Cozy Autumn Vanilla {purchased by me} - I've been in search for the perfect vanilla scent for ages, something comparable to Victoria's Secret's Vanilla Lace, and this limited edition seasonal scent has been the closet thing to my ideal yet. However, I made the mistake of leaving it unguarded in the shower {instead of hiding it and only bringing it out for occasional use} and the hubby made swift work of the entire bottle. My only hope is that there is a similar incarnation of the scent in this year's fall scents from BBW.

LaLicious Body Oil in Sugar Kiss {sent for review} - I'm pretty sure this beauty kicked off my obsession with body oils. Coconut oil is the base and it has the perfect balance of rich slip and absorption. It always left my skin with a beautiful sheen, a lovely scent, and so supple and soft. This is another one I'd gladly repurchase, but from what I can tell, it's been discontinued from the product line.

emerginC Scientific Organics Coconut-Argan Body Oil {sent for review} - Coconut AND Argan oil TOGETHER?!? Yes please! This spray on body oil is right on par with my HG Jergens Shea Body Oil. It smells delicious and soaks into the skin like a breeze. I love the easy application and how lovely it made my skin look and feel.

Orico London Rush Hour Vibrant Dry Body Oil {sent for review} - I've had this beauty for a while and some how misplaced it along the way - I am so happy that I stumbled upon it again! The size is conducive for travel, so I took it with me when the hubby and I went away for the weekend way back when, so every time I used it, it reminded me of how great that weekend was.

Somersets Extra Sensitive Shave Oil {sent for review} - This is another gem that I've had for a while but hadn't bothered to crack open. I have no idea what took me so long, but I am never looking back - shave oil is the way to go! Soft, smooth legs every time, and no need for additional moisturizer afterwards - sign me up! Plus it only takes a few drops to coat each limb and left a delightful tingle when you use it, making it the perfect summer time refresher.

Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer {sent for review} - My skin requires more heavy duty nourishment, so I only used this spray for myself occasionally {to spot treat on the go}, this is my jam for the girls! After they get out the tub they are like busy, wiggly worms who will not stay still long enough to get a full body rub down of traditional lotion. I can literally run after them and spray - but they like the novelty of a spray lotion and often times will take turns spraying each other after tub time. This is a product that will always have a home in our house.

Thymes Clary Sage Tea Bath Salts {sent for review} - This little packet was a surprise; it's more of a fine powder than salt crystals and it actually produces bubbles when added to water! The scent was very nice, but not exactly my bag, so that, coupled with my current infatuation with another brand of bath salts, means I probably won't repurchase another sachet any time soon.
