Get Figgy with Fall's Freshest Beauty Ingredient!

This fall, one ingredient is getting a lot of attention: the fig. From fig cronuts and fig-infused cocktails to fig scented body washes, perfumes and lip balms, figs are undoubtedly the fruit of the season.
nyakio skincare is right on trend and will be launching a brand new collection, Giant Fig, in late October/early November. Laura Mercier already has a line of delectable bath and body products available in the Fresh Fig scent. Should you be adding fig scented goodies to your bathing time ritual? This mama thinks so! {Products featured sent for review}

nyakio Giant Fig Collection

I think the warm sweetness of fig really lends itself to Fall inspired fragrances. What I love about these two scents, is though they both feature fig as the prominent note, because of the accompanying notes, they truly are very unique and different from each other. The nyakio Giant Fig fragrance is definitely warmer and bit more mellow {the scent equivalent of a soft, cozy cashmere sweater}, while Laura Mercier's Fresh Fig scent is more of a bright, fruity-floral. I'm enamored with both scents; the Giant Fig body cream I received for review is the perfect size for my purse for use while I'm out and about, while the Laura Mercier Body Wash is a beautiful addition to my bathroom counter-I reach for it whenever I need a bit of a pick-me-up in the shower. I know I'll be slathering on and lathering up with both of them all season long! Until next time...
