Smashbox's "Love Me" Spring 2013 Collection AKA: A Wish List

Smashbox’s Limited Edition “Love Me” Collection

Smashbox Cosmetics and Curtis Kulig bring street art to the studio with the limited-edition “Love Me” collection. Renowned artist Curtis Kulig’s signature “Love Me” mark– now ubiquitous from the streets of L.A. and galleries of New York to dive bars in Tokyo – has set a new standard in modern image making. The prolific artist now has entered into an epic creative collaboration with Smashbox Cosmetics to produce the limited-edition “Love Me” Collection for Spring 2013, featuring eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, liners and lip glosses. Steeped in Kulig’s signature aesthetic—from the vivid palette to his unmistakable “Love Me” script—Smashbox’s Limited Edition “Love Me” Collection signifies a momentous collaboration between some of the world’s leading color trendsetters.

I basically want everything in the collection (we'll see how that goes), but my dilemma is-they're so pretty, even if I do manage to acquire some, I'd probably hesitate to actually use them (since they are LE and so beautifully packaged/decorated). Anyway, here's full details of the collection (including links to purchase the pieces yourself):

Eye Shadow Palette ($34): Let everyone know that “Love Me Was Here” with just a glance. These collectible palettes feature five richly pigmented shadows. Contrast and blend the shades for an enhanced look. In the shades: Admire Me (pinks and browns), Entice Me (blues and purples).

Be Legendary Lipstick ($19): Smashbox’s signature lipstick gets even more legendary in a new “Love Me” edition, featuring Kulig’s famous red shade. This creamy formula is infused with vitamins, as well as Shea Butter. Available in the shades: Love Me (red), Tempt Me (coral).

Blush ($28): Housed in a collectable compact emblazoned with Kulig’s “Love Me” mark, this high-impact peach was made to make your canvas pop in public. Available in the shade: Idolize Me (peach)

Paint Pen Eye Liner ($24): Line and define your eyes in this bold black hue, inspired by Kulig’s favorite paints. Available in the shade Jet Black.

Lip Enhancing Gloss ($19): Let your lips scream “Love Me” without uttering a word with this glassy gloss. Developed with a non-sticky, moisturizing formula, the gloss delivers color with a hint of pearlescent shimmer. Available in two shades: Adore Me (hot pink) and Charm Me (nude).

Do you spot anything from this collection that you'll be picking up? Isn't the packaging gorgeous! I'll update if/when I get some of these goodies, with swatches or a FOTD post, so stay tuned! Until next time...

    1. I think the nude gloss is a must have! And the coral lipstick? I don't have anything quite that shade so I think I may need to scoop it up too!
