This week's question is...
What inspired you to start your blog?
I have had a love affair with all things fashion and beauty related since I was a very little girl (I was the oldest of 3, with 2 younger brothers; I think being the only girl made me skew towards the hyper feminine as opposed to tomboyish). I've also had a deep and abiding love for the written word for just as long and it has been my life long dream to be a writer (in the professional sense). I was a stay at home mommy with very little to do outside of taking care of my home and family-I love that those things are my main gig, but I needed a creative outlet as well. One day I stumbled upon a magazine at H&M and in it there was an article about style bloggers (I was stuck in such a mommy bubble that I had never heard of such a thing) and I was immediately inspired. I started Mama Fashionista that very day!

ReplyDeleteIsn't writing just the best outlet! :) I agree...as a stay-at-home Mom (a new Gig for me), I am so happy to have something just for "me". I am totally hooked on blogging and a girly-girl myself too! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, it's great you found this outlet and that it's enjoyable for you. I don't put any pressure on myself to blog, I do it at my own pace because it's something that I enjoy as well!
